Who We Are

The word Cocheco is from the Abenaki Native American language meaning “rapid foaming water”.   The Cocheco River runs 38.3 miles before depositing into the Piscataqua River.  We are proud to carry the name Cocheco River for our chapter and members are from the surrounding states NH, MA, and ME.   

Cocheco River Hog Chapter #5116 is sponsored by Harley Davidson of Rochester, NH.  Our chapter began in 2022.  HD of Rochester is located at 7 Crane Drive and has a full-service dealership. From motorcycles sales, parts, merchandise to service on your bike, Rochester has it all. As part of the New England Motorcycle Group, the dealership and chapter have the advantage of brotherhood with three other dealerships with chapters to accomplish great riding advantages and rallies in the New England area.   

Our chapter loves to ride and as you know it’s not the destination, it’s the RIDE!   

Our rides include locations all over New England. We do overnight rides, rides to join Rally’s, Iron Tails, breakfast rides, evening rides, weekend rides, pick up rides, and of course, rides to EAT! 

With so much variety you are sure to find a ride to saddle up with.  We always promote safety with our rides with supporting road captains to help guide the way.   

 In the spring we like to start off our riding season with breakfast and Blessing of the Bikes by the Black Sheep. Of course, we have many other activities that may pique your interest. We support our dealership with events like International Female Riders Day, Trunk ‘n Treats, and Rochester Holiday Parade.
